The Base Matters More Than The Paver
In Pakenham, you cannot just lay pavers on crushed rock. The soil moves too much. We spec a 100mm reinforced concrete sub-base for almost all our premium paving work. This ensures that when the clay shrinks in summer and swells in winter, your expensive Travertine doesn't crack or un-level.
